Wörtli is a website/application created and operated by Guy Altmann.

2. What data is collected

When you use Wörtli, the following personal data may be processed:

• Account data: email address and authentication data provided via Supabase
• User preferences: e.g. username, color scheme
• User account data: account-related information such as premium status, token balance, streaks, and similar usage-related data
• User-generated content: vocabulary, lists, and other data you add
• Technical data: IP address, device and usage data via Google Analytics

3. Authentication & storage

User authentication and data storage are handled via Supabase. Only minimal required login information is stored.

4. Analytics

Wörtli uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics may collect anonymized usage and technical data (such as IP address and device information).

5. Cookies

Wörtli does not intentionally set tracking cookies. Login sessions are stored as part of the authentication process.

6. Purpose of data processing

Data is processed only to:

• Provide and operate the Wörtli service
• Store user content and preferences
• Improve the application and user experience

7. Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time. When you do so, all data linked to your user account is permanently deleted from the database.

8. Data sharing

Your data is not sold. It is only shared with:

• Supabase (authentication & database)
• Google Analytics (usage statistics)

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data
• Request correction or deletion
• Delete your account at any time
